It is going to be Thanksgiving time again. Our kids will be taking a school break soon and we are going to want to keep them busy. I have some great sites that I have found that have free Thanksgiving coloring pages. These sites are wonderful for a range of all kinds of people. They will help homeschoolers, teachers, day care workers, and even stay at home moms.

All you do is take out a strand of licorice and begin threading the licorice through each hole of the Lifesavers. You can use as many Lifesavers as you want. Just try to not eat all of the licorice or candy before you get the necklace finished! It was tempting. When you finish threading the candy through the licorice tie the ends together in a knot. The licorice is fragile of course but it will hold together long enough to see the finished project. I don’t know which one of us had more fun. My niece or myself. I enjoyed the time I spent with her and made some more memories so it was a great day.

Get your free lesson plans at The Teacher’s Corner. You’ll find games and activities as well as dozens of links to historical information about Plymouth, the Puritans, Native Americans and colonists. You’ll get turkey and Thanksgiving crafts to print as well as links to entire units focused on Thanksgiving.

Coloring Book Info: This site has over 100 free printable coloring pages of Star Wars. If you or your child enjoys Star Wars then this will be Star Wars Heaven. They have printables from many of the Star Wars Movies. Pictures to print of: Master Yoda, the Millennium Falcon, Clone Troopers, Darth Maul the sith, General Grievous, Jar Jar Binks and many others.

This website offers 12 pages of Thomas The Tank free coloring sheets to print. The pages take a little time to download so be patient, they are worth the wait. The files do need to be opened in Adobe Acrobat, if you do not have the software program, there is a link on the site where you can download it for free.

Watch episodes of The Clone Wars on The Cartoon Network. Star Wars: The Clone Wars contains some of the sharpest animation on TV. The show is appropriate for tweens, but may be too dark for the elementary school set.
